Faber-Castell

Faber-Castell

Faber-Castell was founded in Germany in 1761 and started off making wooden pencils. With a 250 year heritage of craftsmanship and quality, today they are widely respected for their range of high quality writing instruments. They still make their flagship pencil, the Faber-Castell 9000, which has stood the test of time as it was first made in 1905 and remains as popular today as it ever has been. The Faber-Castell Pitt Artist fibre tipped pens are available with a superfine, extra fine, fine or medium tip and a choice of colours including sepia which is getting harder to find these days. Pitt Artist brush pens are favoured by artists for their high quality inks and choice of over 50 colours. Faber-Castell also make a great fineliner pen in the unusually named Ecco Pigment Liner which is available in 0.1mm, 0.3mm, 0.5mm and 0.7mm tips. For a company that started out making wooden pencils, Faber-Castell now make a superb range of clutch pencils, mechanical pencils and pencil lead refills. These all have the distinctive green Faber-Castell livery and the quality that is now synonymous with their name.
