October is the official breast cancer awareness month the purpose of which is to raise awareness of breast cancer in the UK and help women to become breast aware knowing what is normal and when to seek medical advice.
Breast Cancer is now the most common cancer in the UK with over 45,000 new cases being diagnosed each year. In the last ten years, female breast cancer incidence rates in the UK have increased by 5%.
