The Platinum OLeNU Pencil is an innovative new type of mechanical pencil that protects its lead from being broken if it is accidently dropped, and also from writing pressure. In a conventional mechanical pencil the last 10 - 12mm cannot be used but the OleNu uses its lead right down to the last millimetre.

The barrel of the Platinum OleNU MOL 1000 pencil is made from strong plastic and it has a soft comfortable rubber grip. The pocket clip and trim are chrome plated and underneath the push button is an eraser which can be replaced. The pencil is available with black or blue barrels and it has a retractable tip.

The Platinum OLeNU Pencil uses 0.5mm lead and we recommend when replacing to use Pentel AIN Lead. This is widely regarded as one of the best pencil leads available.
