The rubber grip is first rate and very comfortable to use. A sliding sleeve helps prevent excessive lead breakage in your Pilot Super Grip H185SL pencil.

There is also an integral eraser that can be replaced with Pilot MS-10 replacement erasers and the pencil lead size is 0.5mm.
